Return Policy

Because you are buying the Goods by internet order, you may have a right of cancellation and return. If you do, (and only if you do), these are the terms which apply (but please note we cannot accept the return of Goods in certain circumstances, for example, goods which have been personalised, one of a kind or which deteriorate or expire rapidly or for hygiene reasons). If at the time of delivery and/or within 7 days from the date of delivery of the product/s, if any defect is found, then the buyer of the product/s can ask for replacement of the product/s from the Company subject to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Notify Company of any defects in the product/s at the time of delivery of the product/s and/or within 7 days from the date of delivery and the product will be replaced in return of the defective product/s and if similar product is not available, then the same shall be replaced with some other product of same value.
  2. Replacement can be for the entire product/s or part/s of the product subject to availability of the same with the Company.
  3. You must tell us in writing if you wish to return goods within 7 days beginning the day after the receipt of the Goods, at info@ekhayahomes.in
  4. In any event, you may not return orders for specially commissioned, bespoke or personalized goods;
  5. The Goods must be returned to us within 20 business days after Our approval/your request for returning the order and should meet the following:
    5.1. with goods in their original condition and with packaging;
    5.2. securely wrapped;
    5.3. including our delivery slip;
    5.4. using a reliable delivery partner
  6. After we have received the Goods, we will be issuing store credit on your Ekhaya’s account with the full purchase price of the Goods returned no later than 2 days from receipt of your notice of cancellation and return;
  7. Sales tax, and import duties for all countries except India are not refunded.

Following products shall not be eligible for return or replacement;

  1. if the delivered product has slight variance with the product ordered or if the product is made on order and damages due to misuse of product;
  2. Incidental damage due to malfunctioning of product;
  3. Any consumable item which has been used/installed;
  4. Products with tampered or missing serial/SKU numbers;
  5. Digital products/services
  6. Any damage/defect which are not covered under the manufacturer's warranty;
  7. Any product that is returned without all original packaging and accessories, including the box, manufacturer's packaging if any, and all other items originally included with the product/s delivered;

The Returns Policy for each product is dependent on both product type and the Trader’s own returns policy. The purchaser maybe asked to pay a handling fee of 10% of an item’s purchase amount if the trader requires it.

If Company has suspicion or knowledge, that any of its buyers and us are involved in any activity that is intended to provide claims or information that is false, misleading or not genuine, then Company may while reserving its rights to initiate civil and/or criminal proceedings against member may also at its sole discretion suspend, block, restrict, cancel the Display Name of such buyer and Company and /or disqualify that user and any related users from availing protection through this program.

Company reserves its right to initiate civil and/or criminal proceedings against a user who, files an invalid and/or false claim(s) or provides false, incomplete, or misleading information. In addition to the legal proceedings as aforesaid, Company may at its sole discretion suspend, block, restrict, cancel the Display Name [and its related Display Names] of such user and/or disqualify that user and any related users from availing protection through this program. Any person who, knowingly and with intent to injure, defraud or deceive, files a Fraudulent Complaint containing false, incomplete, or misleading information may be guilty of a criminal offence and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

RETURNS

  • We accept returns only in case of damages in-transit or manufacturing defects.
  • Items are returnable only if unused, in the state you received it, and/or in the original packaging (only for domestic deliveries within India).
  • No Returns/ Refunds are applicable for orders shipped outside India.
  • Items purchased at discounted prices cannot be returned.
  • Custom Made/Commissioned items cannot be returned.
  • Product return requests must be initiated within 24-48 hours. 

CANCELLATION 

  • Order once confirmed, cannot be cancelled. In exceptional cases, please contact our concierge at +919833877887 or email us at support@ekhayayomes.in to discuss cancellation options. 
  • Please specify the reason for your return in the email, along with your order details. 
  • All costs of return shipping need to be borne by the purchaser (Unless the order received is defective). An unboxing video needs to be shared within 24-48 working hours of receiving the order. 

INCORRECT/DAMAGED/DEFECTIVE ITEMS 

  • Please inspect the shipment externally upon delivery to your doorstep. This ensures you receive the correct products and helps prevent any potential damage or discrepancies.
  • We highly recommend recording a clear video while unboxing your products. In the unfortunate event of any damages, missing parts, or receiving incorrect items, please promptly email us your order number, shipment tracking details, along with photos and videos of the issue within 24-48 hours of receiving your order.
  • Returned items must be in their original packaging.
  • We are happy to replace or refund in store credits for any defective items. 

RETURNING A GIFT

  • We are very sorry that your gift did not work for you. Please email us at support@ekhayahomes.in for assistance in returning the item.
  • Unfortunately, store credit cannot be issued for returned gift items. However, we're happy to facilitate a gift exchange for another item of your choice, if possible.

REFUNDS

Refund Processing:

  • We will process all the refunds and/or provide credits after the returned goods have been received in original condition and packaging. The value of your order will be refunded, excluding the costs for shipping and handling each way, within 15 working days after we acknowledge the receipt and confirmation of the condition of the returned goods.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • Products purchased under any promotional offer or discounted scheme cannot be exchanged.
  • Kindly Note: No cash returns are provided.
  • Credit Note will be valid for 6 months from the date of issue. You can use this credit note for the purchase of same or higher value.
  • Modification of Terms and Conditions of Exchanges and Returns policy - 

Ekhaya (https://ekhayahomes.in/) may at any time modify the User Agreement without any prior notification to you. Management decision of the www.ekhayahomes.in would be the final decision subsequent to any modification of the User Agreement; In the event the modified User Agreement is not acceptable to you, you should discontinue using the service. However, if you continue to use the service, you shall be deemed to have agreed to accept and abide by the modified User Agreement.

CLAIMS AND REMEDIES
WITH RESPECT TO ANY OF OUR PRODUCTS, SERVICES OR SITE CONTENT, OUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE OBLIGATION OR LIABILITY AND YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY WILL BE, IN OUR DISCRETION, TO REFUND THE PURCHASE PRICE OR TO REPLACE AND DELIVER EQUIVALENT PRODUCT ITEMS, AS SOON AS REASONABLY POSSIBLE.

THE APPLICABLE CLAIM MUST BE BROUGHT WITHIN SEVEN (7) DAYS AFTER DELIVERY, OR WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE AND YOU WILL HAVE WAIVED ANY AND ALL RELATED CLAIMS REGARDING SUCH PRODUCT ITEMS.

INDEMNITY

  • You shall defend, indemnify, and hold harmless EKHAYA Parties from all third party liabilities, claims, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, that arise from or relate to
  • Your use or misuse of, or access to, the Site, Services or Content;
  • Your User Content;
  • Your violation of these Terms and Conditions
  • Infringement by you, or any third party using your Account or identity in the Services, of any intellectual property or other right of any person or entity. We reserve the right to assume the exclusive defence and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which event you will assist and cooperate with us in asserting any available defences.
